Autumn leaf viewing season is coming soon!

We have always been more interested in dumplings than flowers, but recently we have come to be soothed by flowers, birds, wind and the moon.
Is it because we had to refrain from doing so due to the emergency declaration?
Or is it because we are getting older?
At any rate, the autumn leaves in Kyoto are wonderful, and we are planning to visit many places this year.

The colored leaves start from the northern part of Kyoto city.

These pictures were taken Nov.9th,2020 at Jingo-ji Temple.
Super beautiful!! The bright red leaves and the gradation from blue to red are both beautiful.
It is said that the leaves change color beautifully in three weeks after the minimum temperature drops below 8 degrees Celsius.
The best time to see the autumn foliage in Kyoto is from early-November to mid-December.
You will be also satisfied because lots of temples and shrines are also illuminated in the night.

Your body is not used to the cold, so make sure to dress warmly^^

Access to Jingoji Temple

From Kyoto Station→Take JR bus “Takao/Keihoku Line” for 50 minutes, get off at “Yamashiro Takao” bus stop, and walk about 20 minutes.
